I strongly recommend magoosh TOEFL preparation. I just gave 12 hours to it. And completed around 100 questions in both listening and reading and some speaking, writing questions too. In many ways quite frankly. I just to note that I have previous experience taking the TOEFL. Additionally, my writing improved significantly from writing my master's thesis. Magoosh videos and practice tests helped me remember the test structure and format. They turned out to be very useful in a sense that you get to choose the videos or set of questions that would improve your specific weak areas. For example, my weakest ability was the reading section, and this is probably related to my educational background where our school materials and tasks do not focus on developing a student's reading skills. Did I mention how useful the practice tests offered here! They are not only similar to the actual test, but also Internet based (IBT) which is way better compared to practicing from a book. With Magoosh you get to experience the same test atmosphere. In summary, I only used Magoosh courses for three days (8 hours of study each), and improved my score +9. I watched all the Magoosh TOEFL videos on youtube. I wanted to upgrade to premium membership but due to some family circumstances I coudn't do that. But that didn't stop me from getting valuable tips from Lucas(as the youtube videos were free!!) And I felt that was the most generous deed by Magoosh and ofcourse Lucas for making the videos so very helpful!! I believe each and every little tip he gave,the vocabulary words he shared, his speaking samples and all of it actually are invaluable!! Moreover, I feel I was lucky enough to get most of the vocabulary word questions from the words which Lucas has made videos on!! Whilst I was answering my reading section, I could actually think of Lucas saying those words in the vocabulary questions I was asked to answer and explaining them in his videos! Also, the writing section tips he gave were life savers! Believe me, I am not exaggerating when I say that I believe without Lucas's videos I wouldn't have crossed even a 20 on the writing section! In saying so, I would also like to add that a 29 on listening and 26 on speaking are all because of Lucas's videos!!
