The video lessons helped a lot, especially in helping me get familiarized with the test format and in demonstrating and explaining the various ways to approach each type of question. Practicing with Magoosh was the best way for me to apply what I learned in the video lessons and to hone the skills I needed to do well on the test. Having video explanations for each question allowed me to correct whatever it was I was doing wrong right away as well. It also helped me get a feel of how fast and how aware of the time I had to be, allowing me to pace myself pretty well on the actual test. |

I am a Bolivian Civil Engineer, now pursuing to earn a scholarship to do a Masters abroad, for instance I knew I have to master the English so I can achieve this goal. I have a good reading and listening, but my speaking and writing need it little bit more of work if I wanted to achieve a good score in the TOEFL. A year ago, I enrolled in a class to prepare for the TOEFL test, but I was disappointed in the class. They were not interactive at all. Now this year I was determine to take the TOEFL, so I saw this post about Magoosh while looking material to study for the TOEFL so I decide to see what was all about, after to read the testimonials I decided to try it. Taking the classes on Magoosh cost me less than the other classes, I took last year and they were so much better, this is because the Magoosh’s classes no matter which level of English you have they adapt to you and you are able to pick your own way to study. What’s more, you have plenty of material to study with and I found all the material so interactive. Personally, I decided first to take a complete test so there I could see my flaws, and then work them out through the videos, let me tell you It really work. I took the TOEFL in order to achieve a scholarship were they required you to have a 94 in your overall score, and with the help of Magoosh I accomplished this goal.
